MISSION

The Whole Child Institute of New Mexico is an inclusive therapeutic school that integrates specialized therapies, nursing services, and individualized education within one collaborative environment. Our mission is to empower neurodivergent and medically diverse learners by providing a safe, supportive place where they are understood, respected, and equipped to grow.

VISION

We envision a community where every neurodivergent and medically diverse learner has access to integrated educational, therapeutic, and clinical supports that honor their individuality and celebrate their strengths. The Whole Child Institute of New Mexico strives to create a future in which every learner experiences belonging, develops meaningful independence, and has the opportunity to thrive at school, at home, and within their community.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

We believe that regulation is the foundation for learning, and we intentionally design every aspect of the environment to meet each learner's unique strengths, needs, and goals. Through evidence-based therapies, individualized academics, and strong partnerships with families and interdisciplinary professionals, we support learners in building communication, independence, confidence, and meaningful participation throughout their lives.
